Levitate’s Wall Mounted Top Braced Jib Crane is a practical and economical solution for workplaces that require reliable lifting over a dedicated work area while preserving floor space. Designed for capacities up to 2000kg, this crane is well suited to general material handling, maintenance tasks, loading operations, and workstation lifting applications. The top braced configuration allows for a lighter jib arm design, helping improve slewing performance while maintaining structural efficiency. This style of jib crane is designed to be mounted directly onto a suitable existing building column, wall, or other engineered support structure, making it a good option where a free-standing column is not required or where floor obstruction needs to be minimised. Jib arm length and mounting height can be tailored to suit the available space and lifting requirements, subject to structural suitability. For different operating needs, the crane can be supplied with a manual or electric chain hoist, along with manual or powered trolley travel, depending on the duty and operational preference. It can also be supplied for indoor or outdoor service, depending on the application and the suitability of the supporting structure.

MOUNTING OPTIONS

Column Mounted

A column mounted console bracket is a simple and practical mounting system for supporting a jib crane from an existing column. It typically consists of a front plate and backing plate, which are fastened together using bolts. The system relies on clamping force to securely support the applied load.

Surface Mounted

A surface mounted bracket is typically used where a column mounted console bracket is not suitable. This arrangement is generally used where the mounting surface is steel and has sufficient strength to support the applied reaction forces from the jib crane.

Concrete Wall Mounted

A concrete wall mounted bracket can be a practical option where a suitable concrete wall is available. This type of mounting is only suitable where the wall is capable of safely supporting the reaction forces imposed by the jib crane.

Adjustable Slew Stop

Our adjustable slew stop can be fitted to Levitate jib cranes to limit arm rotation and suit site-specific operating requirements.

It is easy to install and can be set in 25° increments, helping improve control, protect surrounding equipment, and restrict crane movement to the required working area.

Radio Remote

An optional radio remote control is available for our jib cranes, allowing the operator to control crane movements from a convenient position. It is a practical upgrade that improves ease of use, operator control, and site flexibility.

End Stop

Levitate's universal beam end stop is designed to be fitted to any jib arm to restrict trolley traverse where required. It provides a practical way to control trolley movement, protect the end of the beam, and suit site-specific operating requirements.
